A lovely Art Deco cased set of silver handled knives and forks from the Sheffield cutler and silversmith Charles William Fletcher. Charles William Fletcher [C W Fletcher & Sons] was registered in May 1894 at the Sterling Works, Sheffield.
In 1907 the company acquired Brewis & Co, a London Silversmiths which resulted in C W Fletcher becoming a limited company. In 1908 the company consolidated in Sheffield and was taken over in March 2002, now being known as Fletcher Robinson Ltd

Overall condition is good, the case is in good antique condition, the plated tines and blades have light surface scratch and the filled silver handles have very few dinks with polished hallmarks.
