Item Details
This is a gorgeous solid silver box with an interior specifically designed to fulfil the requirements of ‘ring warming’ ceremonies, or alternatively an elegant ring container significant enough that even the most inept ‘Best Man’ (or woman) would find it difficult to lose it on the way to the wedding venue.
The interior is complete with two recesses for both wedding rings and furnished in a hand dyed, deep blue Victorian velvet, obtained from a period specialist supplier. The exterior is equally delightful, with the upper surface portraying putti engaged in various ‘puttiesque’ activities. The underside of the box portrays the lovers engaged in an assignation at the well by the river, surrounded by even more putti, swans and other rural images.
