The securing pins (retaining the silver on the holder) are intact, also as you can see, whilst there are some areas of wear and tear to the dark green Moroccan leather, overall the condition of this item is good and clean order, commensurate with over 100 years of treasured use. Note the carrying handle remains in place and the catch is also in good order. The easel back has been recently recovered in a more lightly grained and paler green leather. The easel is strong, but does not lie fully flat in the recess (see photographs). The silver is in good condition with just a few small dinks and light surface scratching.
