Item Details
Iconic Victorian antique silver plated spoon warmer in the shape of a majestic Nautilus. The nautilus shell forms a shaped reservoir for hot water and has a sculpted hinged lid to facilitate the insertion and removal of spoons as well as the emptying and filling with hot water. It is a handsome and substantial example from a bygone era, with a practical use today, if not at the dining table than in the bathroom for containing soaps or cotton wool balls.
